J. M. DeSantis is scheduled to be the Featured Artist of Heavy Metal Magazine's January 2009 issue. A tremendous honour for the writer and illustrator, this section will feature his new and yet to be revealed painting, 'Murderous Goblin.' Devil Tree

Written and illustrated by J. M. DeSantis, Devil Tree is a two-page horror comic featuring an all too curious boy and an old and foreboding looking tree with a dark legend attached to its name. Published on the internet by the Comicbook Artists Guild on the Drunk Duck! Webcomics Community, this story is just in time for Halloween.
